Here's a little update of what has been going on in our lives.
Jordan was weighed and measured yesterday and is now 17 lbs 11 oz and is 26 inches long. With his height and weight combined he's in the 80%. All this weight has made it hard for him to roll over I think. He used to roll from tummy to back a couple months ago, but has stopped doing that and now constantly rolls from back to tummy. He sleeps only on his stomach now; every time I put him down for bed he rolls over and goes to sleep, but he usually cries for a while first. Jordan only takes two to three 1/2 hr naps a day, which is bummer but I think they're starting to lengthen. Luckily he goes down at night really well.
He's been sitting for a while now, and now does it all the time; it's SO nice! Also, when he's on his stomach he tries to scoot and move around and roll towards toys, so maybe in another couple months he'll start to crawl, but that is still a ways down the road. It's weird to think that he'll be six months old in another week and half. It went by faster than I thought it would. He's a lot more fun now and laughs and smiles come easily to his lips as do all sorts of noises (i.e. humming, screech singing, yelling, and of course crying :) )
I graduate next Wednesday!! I've also been getting up early (8am...) and exercising everyday. It feels really good but I am dreadfully out of shape.
Michael is working hard, but he spends a lot of time with me and playing with Jordan. I'll miss him this fall; I've become so spoiled this summer.
I think I take so many pictures of him sleeping because it's so rare during the day.
He loves blankets!
Yay! I love fat babies! You're graduating next Wednesday? I'm graduating on Friday...or at least I thought I was. Did I get the day wrong, because I know you and I should be walking in the same group!
