What a week!

The week of Thanksgiving turned out to be a big week for Jordan developmentally.  Jordan has been able to walk around our living room for quite some time now by use of the furniture, but did not like to crawl. He would get into crawling position, maybe go a foot or two, and then stop, sit down, and then want to walk around some more. Well finally, the day we went to our parents, he started crawling like he had been doing it for a long time. I think it was the soft carpet, as opposed to hard, cement-like carpet of Wymount, and the fact that his cousin was crawling all over the place. He loves to push balls and other objects and go chasing after them. He favorite thing to chase at my parents was the dog. Every time he saw the dog he would laugh and chase after her, unfortunately for Jordan, and fortunately for the dog, the dog was faster. Jordan still prefers to walk, but at least now he can better entertain himself. He also learned how to clap, wave hi, roll/toss a ball back and forth, and imitate sneezing, which is pretty funny. It was great for Jordan to be around so many people and have kids to play with him, he loved it! The only downside was that he slept terribly the entire time; it is so nice to be home and sleeping again!

  2. That's so fun! I can't believe I missed it all! I'm glad he finally took up crawling. It looks like all he needed was some healthy competition from Abe, huh? Thanks for posting the pictures. I sure miss you all.
