All is well

I think I've finally got the hang of this having-two-kids thing. For a while I wasn't so sure, those first 6 weeks were tough! Everything is going so well now. Now I'm just waiting for the next bomb to drop.  :) Parker is a fat smiley boy that rarely cries and only wakes up twice between 9:30pm-8:00am!'s  Jordan is still sweet and is growing fast!  Some days I can't wait till my kids are all in school, other days I want them to slow down because I love having babies around.

Parker is in the 88% for weight (14 lbs) and 79% for height, so he is a big boy!  He was in the 25% for weight when he was born, needless to say the doctor was very impressed.  After getting his shots he pretty much slept all day, and whimpered on and off. Poor little guy! But it's for the best, I would rather him get shots than get the measles or other terrible diseases!

It was so nice getting a few new toys for Christmas, Jordan was pretty bored with his other toys (mostly baby toys) and was tired of being inside all the time. The train and the Magna Doodle have been his favorite so far. When he opened the train he said, "A choo choo, WOW!" He's starting to say some pretty funny things.  It's fun to see more and more of his personality all the time. He can be a handful though at times. I'm already sick of the tantrums. But if Jordan is anything like I was, I probably still have several more years to go before they're gone...

Here are some of my favorite recent pictures (most are on facebook, so you probably have already seen them...)
Jordan LOVED the lights at temple square. He pointed out EVERY tree and said, "Lights! WOW!!"

  1. WHAT CUTE KIDS! I miss them! Thanks for the post, and especially the pictures. It sounds like Jordan is really talking now. That's so fun that he says "WOW" to so many thing. What a fun family.
