Summer Vacation

We recently got back from our great summer vacation. We were gone a week and a half and for the last part of the trip I went to visit my sister in Michigan.  It was a lot of fun seeing so many friends and family.  We took Jordan swimming for the first time. I was afraid he wouldn't like it since baths are sometimes a struggle, but he loved it!  Michael and I were also able to leave Jordan with his Grandma for most of a day so we could go out around Denver to celebrate our anniversary.  We were going to go to a water park, but it rained that day, so instead we went out to lunch and went to a game and arcade place that actually turned out to be really fun.  Plus we won some toys for Jordan.  I'm trying to take advantage of this summer since Jordan is now old enough to be left for a good chunk of time and soon I'll have another baby to feed, etc.  If this next one is anything like Jordan, he'll want to eat every two hours for the first 6 months.

I loved Michigan! It was gorgeous, so many lakes and much greener than I'm used to.  It was really nice to relax, hangout, and see where my sister Stephanie lives. We went swimming in one of the many lakes, and toured University of Michigan campus. It was the first time I had ever left Jordan over night or for longer than 4 or 5 hours for that matter.  I missed him and Michael a lot, so while I had blast, I was happy to go home.

Jordan LOVED my mother-in-laws dogs. His giving her a kiss.

SO tired! Nothing I tried kept his head up.
